Best Gaming Phones Under ₹10,000 in India: 6 Phones for Free Fire and BGMI

A Class 12 student has ₹10,000 saved up. He sorts an online store by RAM, buys the phone at the top of the list, and regrets it within a week because every evening game stutters. RAM wasn’t the problem.

The best phone for gaming under 10000 in India depends on the processor, battery and screen far more than on the RAM figure. It’s also harder to find in 2026, because prices have risen. Of the six phones below, only the Redmi 12 and POCO C71 reliably list at ₹10,000 or less today. The other four launched under that mark and now cost more, or are hard to buy.

I haven’t tested any of these phones. The specs and prices below come from launch reports and retailer listings I checked in mid-October 2026, and trackers can lag the stores, so check the price again before you order.

The 6 Best Gaming Phones Under ₹10,000 in India

The table shows each phone’s launch price next to its latest listing.

Redmi 14C 5G: Best Overall if You Can Stretch the Budget

Xiaomi’s Redmi 14C 5G is the best all-rounder on this list, but its price has jumped. It launched at ₹9,999, and Smartprix moved the listing to ₹15,999 on 7 October. What you’re paying for is a 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, a 6.88-inch 120Hz screen and a 5,160mAh battery with 18W charging. One retailer guide reports smooth BGMI on low and medium graphics. The HD+ screen looks soft and charging is slow, so only buy it if you can spend well past ₹10,000.

Redmi 12: Best for Free Fire

This is the phone for anyone with a hard ₹10,000 ceiling. The 6GB/128GB model sat at ₹9,999 on Flipkart in July, and it comes with a sharp 6.79-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, a microSD slot and a 5,000mAh battery that charges at 18W. Its weakness is age: a 2023 Helio G88 chip and no 5G, so low to medium graphics in a light game is the realistic target. If you want the best free fire phone under 10000, it’s the one I’d check first, although I couldn’t verify its in-game settings.

POCO M7 5G: Best for BGMI

Four years of security updates, 6GB of RAM and a 120Hz screen come with the M7 5G, but the chip is the real reason it’s here. It’s the same Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 as the Redmi 14C, the strongest on this list. POCO launched it at ₹10,499 (₹9,999 on the first day of sale), and Smartprix now shows ₹12,499, so you’ll need a sale to stay in budget. I found no heat or battery data, which makes low to medium graphics a sensible expectation in BGMI.

POCO C71: Best for Battery

Battery is the C71’s selling point. It packs 5,200mAh and a 120Hz screen into a ₹9,999 listing on Smartprix and MySmartPrice, although Beebom showed ₹8,999 on 8 October. The Unisoc T7250 chip holds it back, and it’s 4G only. One review called it too weak for serious gaming, so keep to light titles. It’s the best phone for gaming under 10000 with big battery life on this list, but nobody has published battery tests.

Samsung Galaxy F06 5G: Best for Everyday Use and Long Support

Plan to keep your phone for years? Samsung promises four OS upgrades and four years of security updates for the F06 5G. Under the hood it has a Dimensity 6300, a 6.7-inch HD+ 90Hz screen and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, and there’s no charger in the box. The ₹9,499 launch price is long gone, with listings now running from ₹10,999 to ₹13,239 depending on variant and store. The screen looks soft.

Lava Bold N1 5G: Best Budget Pick

At ₹7,499 at launch, the Bold N1 5G is the cheapest phone here, yet you may struggle to buy one. MySmartPrice shows ₹9,999 and is out of stock, while Beebom says its last price was ₹11,299. It offers a Unisoc T765 chip, a 90Hz screen, a 5,000mAh battery, IP54 protection and a 10W charger in the box. With 4GB of RAM, it’s one of the best phones for budget gaming under 10k, and only for light titles.

What to Look for in a Gaming Phone Under ₹10,000?

Processor and Graphics Performance

The chipset sets loading times and how steady frames stay in busy moments. For the best phone under 10000 with good processor, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 in the Redmi 14C and POCO M7 leads this list. It matters more than the RAM figure on the box.

RAM and Storage

6GB RAM gaming under 10000 handles multitasking better than 4GB. Virtual RAM borrows storage space and rarely helps games. Keep at least 20GB free, because large games take up a lot of room.

Display and Refresh Rate

A 120Hz screen redraws faster than a 60Hz one, but the game has to produce frames to match. Many games cap at 60 FPS, so the extra refresh goes unused. The higher rate helps scrolling more than it helps most games.

Battery Life and Charging

A bigger battery lasts longer, but 15W or 18W charging means a long wait. Phones with poor heat control also drain faster under heavy play.

Do You Need 5G for Gaming?

Usually not. Online games depend on stable latency, and a steady 4G connection can beat a patchy 5G one.The best 5g phone under 10000 for gaming should win on its other traits first.

Four phones here support 5G: the Redmi 14C, POCO M7, Galaxy F06 and Lava Bold N1. Only the first two pair it with a Snapdragon chip.

Which Phone Is Best for Free Fire, BGMI and PUBG?

Best Phone for Free Fire

The Redmi 12 wins on price. The Redmi 14C 5G gives more headroom if you can pay for it. Check which Free Fire versions Google Play offers in your region before you buy.

Best Phone for BGMI

Shopping for the best bgmi phone under 10000? The POCO M7 5G and Redmi 14C 5G lead the way, but both now cost more. Krafton lists device requirements on its website, so read them before you buy.

Best Phone Under ₹10,000 for PUBG

PUBG Mobile isn’t available in India, and BGMI replaced it. So the best phone under 10000 for pubg is simply the best BGMI phone.

Can a Budget Phone Deliver Smooth Gaming?

Yes, if you drop the graphics. Chips slow down as they heat up, updates raise a game’s demands over time, and budget processors top out early. Aim for steady play on lower settings.

How to Get More From a Cheap Gaming Phone?

  • Begin on low graphics and raise one setting at a time until the game starts to stutter.
  • Take the case off and don’t charge mid-match. Heat is what slows a budget chip.
  • Clear space regularly, because a nearly full phone loads games more slowly.
  • Install updates through Google Play or the official store, never from third-party sites.

Mistakes Buyers Make With Budget Gaming Phones

  • Choosing by RAM alone. A stronger processor with 8GB usually beats a weaker one with 12GB.
  • Treating 120Hz as 120 FPS. The screen’s refresh rate and the game’s frame rate are different things.
  • Skipping heat, storage and warranty. A big battery won’t help if a 64GB phone fills up quickly.
  • Not checking compatibility. Make sure the game supports your phone’s Android version.
  • Installing modified APKs, which can carry malware that steals your data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Phone Should I Buy if I Can’t Spend More Than ₹10,000?

How Well Will BGMI Run on a Phone Under ₹10,000?

Only on low graphics, and I couldn’t verify settings for the phones in this range. The POCO M7 5G, at about ₹12,500, is a more realistic starting point.

How Much RAM Do I Need for Mobile Gaming?

6GB covers most budget titles, and 4GB is fine for light games. The processor matters more than the RAM figure.
